Our homemade apple pie is made with hand peeled, cored and sliced granny smith apples. The apples are seasoned with cinnamon and nutmeg, places in a handmade all butter crust and covered with a lattice top and covered with a caramel like coating. The result is a flaky bottom crust with a crispy top crust.
